DJ NOVA

DJ Nova has taken his name from the worldwide famous radio nova as heard about it before 10 years ago on St.Germain Boulevard album, his all time fave and the one that put him in the jazz mood. Music lover since his 12th year of his life he was discovered on a beach bar, two years ago, by one x-Rodon FM 95 radio producer and asked to join the radio team. And he did it. Four months later, on December of 2003, he started broadcasting his unique radio show called Nova Planet every Wednesday evening. Nu Jazz is his airport but in his two hours radio show he is flying to many directions.

He was resident dj at bar Sugar twice a month and guest dj in some local places. He’s promoting and supporting many labels like Compost, Schema, Hinterland, GStone, Couch, AfroArt, Further Out, Chat Chapeau, Cosmic Sounds, Nova Records, DNM, Infracom!, Hitop, Irma, Far Out, Big Sur, Prominence, Ice & Spice, Mettle Music, Premiercru Music, Stereo Deluxe, Soilsound, Etage Noir, Café Del Mar Music, Sala Sonora, Timewarp, Klik, Igguassu Music, Sunshine Enterprices etc. he is responsible about the rebroadcasting of five international radio shows in Rodon FM 95 Beyond Jazz, Urban Landscapes, Basic Soul, Migrations and Soilsound Chronicles. He was taken part on soulseduction.com radio days with one xlusive mix, like all his guest mixes. In 2004-2005 radio season he did 25 live interviews with Michael Reinboth, Nicola Conte, Fabrice Lig, Ralf Droesemeyer, Truby Trio, Deladap, Tobias Meggle, Christian Prommer, S-tone Inc, Intuit, Carouge, Eddy Ramich, Felix Laband, Helmut Neugebauer, Dealers Of Nordic MusicMilto Eph, Heiko laux and more.  

Recently he played in Vienna with Muzikfranz from play.fm. His dj style is a mixture of old jazz, brazillian, soul and funk music with nu jazz, broken beat, latin, house, reggae and more styles with a jazzy infuences. Sometimes he is reviewing stuff in beyondjaz.net and atraktos.net. DJ Nova is a really busy person, he is trying to live, beyond his real occupation, his passion for music.
